Welcome to The House of Granite & Marble, with a 190 square foot showroom we have one of the largest range of natural and manmade quartz materials to view in the Chesterfield area. These are Granites from across the globe with a variety of Quartz manufacturers and stunning bathroom and kitchen displays.

Furnishing or decorating a home can leave the best of us feeling overwhelmed but House of Granite & Marble offers a dedicated and friendly team and a choice of quality materials, arranged in a way that you could easily imagine in your home.


Available to view is an extensive range of granite and quartz samples in the 190 square foot showroom, also you can visit the production workshop where you will see the process of cutting and polishing on site. If you are still undecided on choice of material, an appointment can be arranged for customers to visit the suppliers import site to choose and reserve your own slabs, this guarantees you that your dream kitchen will look exactly as you imagined.


Some of the popular materials such as the Star Galaxy granite from India has flecks of gold compressed within the black natural stone making it appear 3D. The Kashmir White granite has hints of blue and grey reminiscent of the Taj Mahal. With pieces coming from as far as China and Brazil, there is no shortage of choice. Plus, the chance of having the same kitchen as your neighbour is virtually impossible, as the colours, veining and patterning in each granite slab is natural and will be different giving you a truly exclusive home.

Quartz is a fashionable alternative to natural granite and can be utilised in exactly the same way as granite with manufacturers you would have heard of such as Silestone, Compac and Technistone to name just a few on offer. All the samples are available to take home and view in the location it would be fitted so that you can see what it would look like in your own home.

Owner Janet Hall said: "We can cut the slabs of granite or quartz to any size which is perfect for a project that might have a complex shape. Everything is overseen by our trained staff on all projects from start to finish, from the initial choice of material, templating, through to the final fitting by our in house fitters".

As well as worktops, a stunning range of stone basins are available together with an assortment of top of the range taps to give that "finishing touch". Staff are always on hand to give expert advice on the care of your new work surfaces, and have a range of specialised products in stock to keep your tops looking fantastic.

Fireplace hearths made of granite are very popular and are fabricated to the customers exact specifications in a colour to match the design of the room. Also the current trend of bespoke vanity units, shelving and shower enclosures made from granite or marble is available.
